Step -1 Unbox the TP-Link Deco

Note: The main Deco unit acts as a primary extender and must be connected to the host router. If you don’t know how to connect the Deco unit with the extender, then follow the below-given steps:

Step -2 Connect the Main Deco Unit

Place the extender and Deco unit in the same room. Next, take an Ethernet cable and attach one end to the LAN port on your extender. The Deco’s WAN port should be connected to the Ethernet cable’s other end.

Step -3 Setting Up the TP-Link Deco Network
As soon as the TP-Link Deco Unit is connected to the extender, it’s time to set up the TP-Link network with the help of Deco. Make sure that your mobile device is updated and virus-free before you start. In addition, your smartphone is fully charged. Once done, follow the below-mentioned instructions:

Unlock the mobile phone.
Head over to the Play Store or App Store as per your device availability.
Here, in the search bar, type the Deco app and tap the Search icon.

Select the app and Download it.
Once installed, open it.

Now, use the TP-Link ID to log in to the Deco app.

Now, connect the additional Deco unit to a power socket and position them.
